ZR1 diff/6L80e

Here’s where the ZR1 diff has a huge strength advantage (red circles). I think those two ears are the Achilles heel of the stock and Z06 housings. The ZR1 diff housing looks to be much beefier than even the Z06 housing in that area, to deal with the torsional force which tries to separate the diff from the trans. I believe most of the time that’s where the stock diffs break first and then snap off the output shaft like a twig.
