Clicking shifter
Just bought a 07 c6 with 16,000 miles on it. A very clean car but my one concern is the shifter. Each time I shift I hear a single click in the shifter. The shifter works perfectly fine. It would sound like someone taking two rods and hitting them together just once. No rattle. Any ideas?

I am thinking that the noise you are hearing (if coming from the shifter area itself) is most likely normal. You could potentially have worn bushings in the shifter box but I would think this to be unlikely at that mileage.
