Default Header Install and Tune

Hey everyone,

So I have my car scheduled for a longtube header install and tune at New Era Performance here in Rochester, NY. I would've done the install myself, however, the lift I normally have access to is not available.

Just curious on two things;

1: Is there anything I should do while the car is apart regarding the slave ling from the clutch? I've read a few threads about it frying after a header install. Anything else I should watch out for?

2: Is this a good price: Install $570, Custom Dyno Tune $450 + Tax = Total: $1101.60

Honestly that install price doesn't seem too bad. The job isn't that hard on jackstands either if you want to do it yourself.

You won't be able to do much with the slave line other than what you should do which is to tie it up out of the way toward the frame so that the headers can't get it too hot.

Prices are not bad at all
You may want to look at the Z-Cool tunnel insulation as it works well to lower console temps, and this is the time to do it

That's how I did mine. I was only 69 at the time, so if I did it again, I'd want a lift.
