Default 2005 T56 transmission fluid confirmed

This past June, I purchased a 2005 C6 with the 6sp manual transmission and, not knowing the full vehicle history, am wanting to change transmission and differential fluids. I've searched and Googled for info. regarding which ATF fluid to use (I know its DEXRON III H, but was concerned about it not being compatible with synthetic fluids)? Some people were saying synthetics...some said no, they aren't compatible with the blocker rings...some said gearbox fluid.
So, I went to the source and contacted Tremec via their online email and the response came less than 6 hours later:

"The TR6060 (Corvette trans) uses Dexron III ATF or Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. It doesn’t matter if you use a synthetic or petroleum based fluid, as long as it’s DEXRON III compatible."

But the 2005 has a T56 transmission. So I replied back:
"Being a 2005, doesn’t my model have the T56? That’s where the confusion on fluid seems to come in. I’m hearing that the blocker rings may not react well to certain fluids, even those that are Dexron III rated."

The response:
"The T56 and the TR6060 have the same fluid requirements."

Having cleared up some confusion, I'm off to purchase four bottles of Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF (because I can buy it locally and I trust Mobil 1 products).
