LS7 Pushrod Length
I have a set of factory casting heads that I recently sent out to GPI to have fixed, ported and milled 0.20” while there. My question is after milling down 0.20” has anyone had to change to a shorter pushrod length? I plan to measure everything when the heads get back but I thought maybe somebody might know and I can get the parts ordered before hand. Any help would be appreciated!

I guess you could go with a .025" shorter pushrod in order to get close to the same lifter preload as you had before milling the stock heads.
Just remember ... The total plunger travel inside the OEM lifters is .200" total (200 thousands) and that gives you a lot of leeway.
You would be just fine having the OEM LS7 lifter preload anywhere between .060" - .130" (don't have to be perfectly set to the exact midpoint which would be .100")
BTW ... I use pushrods that give me .090" preload (quiet valvetrain)
