C5 Diff on C6 4l65e

OK, I have a Porsche 928 that I am putting a corvette driveline into. I have a driveline from a 2005 C6 Vette. The C5 differential would actually be easier to mount. So, will a C5 diff attach to the back of a 2005 C6 4l65e and will the spool from the C6 diff fit in the C5 case? Thanks.

As far as I know bolt patterns are same but differential cases are different. 2005 C6s has different differential mounts. There wont be any problems attaching the dif onto trans.
