I can’t get my shifter out of park unless forced. And then I have to force it back to reverse and park after I drive it. HELP!
The shifter locking pawl is not releasing correctly due to a faulty transmission lock out solenoid limit micro-switch.
This micro switch is not available as a stand alone part from GM. It is the one in front of the shifter, which has to be made along with the brake switch to disengage the pawl.
Some have found the switch at Radio shack and replaced it, but most of us have simply tied the loxcking pawl back so it no longer gives us any grief.

There is so much info on this issue here on the forum, it should be easy to find. Cut the pawl, tie the pawl back, replace the switch, and more.
I'm not busting your chops here, but three years on the forum, and 3 posts? If you spend a little more time on here, just an hour a week, you will learn a lot about your vette.
