I think you'll be fine with one solid, one rubber. I've read the German (BMW) couplers are supposedly an "upgrade" over our GM couplers. The DSS poly looks like a nice piece...I'm just not a fan of poly in rotational applications. Poly is susceptible to "cold flow"...essentially distorting round holes into egg-shaped holes over time because it lacks the elasticity of rubber to "snap back" into its original shape.
