Torque tube couplers

I think you'll be fine with one solid, one rubber. I've read the German (BMW) couplers are supposedly an "upgrade" over our GM couplers. The DSS poly looks like a nice piece...I'm just not a fan of poly in rotational applications. Poly is susceptible to "cold flow"...essentially distorting round holes into egg-shaped holes over time because it lacks the elasticity of rubber to "snap back" into its original shape.

I has originally thought of upgrading to a ZR1 prop shaft and thicker couplers, but that requires a different torque tube for my (2006).
My only other option is a DSS couplerless driveshaft. I had hoped that a solid rear with an OEM front would be sufficiently strong to handle my 600 RWHP during drag race launches, while also eliminating the issues of NVH that some have reported when using solid or poly couplers.
