Interior Rearview Mirror Lights not Shutting Off
Greetings and Happy New Year!!
2011 C6 Grand Sport 24k miles.
The interior rearview mirror lights will not shut off after the door is closed. They will stay on for about eight minutes and then shut off. I've checked the interior lamp switch and made sure it hasn't been rotated to the "interior lamps on" part of the rheostat. It doesn't matter if I turn off the switches on the rearview mirror or not. Any ideas? I'm waiting for those puppies to stay on overnight, leaving me with a flat battery.
Thanks,
GP

Check to make sure your knee didn't push in the little **** on the left side of the lower dash. It dims the interior lights but if you accidently push it in the mirror lights will stay on. It has happened to a lot of us here on the forum.

I agree it's probably that button that got accidentally pushed but I'd love to see a picture of someone actually getting into a position where they're knee can reach it. I couldn't do it if I tried much less accidentally.
