Ok a little history..car has been making noise for a while now..it started light and sporadic but has increased and increases as rpms climb..car has also had a little rough idle also.all this has been going on for a while .noise seems to be coming from front of engine on drivers side .i was at the drive thru today getting food and the idle got a good bit worse and the check engine light came on.it had never had check engine light before. So get home and read codes and it’s giving 2 with both being P300 random misfire. are these two related or different issues?.ideas, thoughts and where to start.also I tried to upload video of the noise but keeps saying upload of file failed.
The easiest, no cost, thing to check is all of the plug wires, both ends. Make sure everything is securely attached at the spark plugs and coils. If you hear a noise at the driver's side front of the engine, I'd suggest that is where you will probably find a wire loose, if that is the problem. If it isn't, well.......let us know and we'll try again.

If somebody has a way to post my video that would be great..I can send it..
Gonna change the plugs maybe tomorrow depending on temps.. hopefully this may solve the misfire issue.. hoping the other is just a tensioner.. I couldn’t Imagine it holding up for this long if it was something major.
Can you describe the noise? (you never described what the noise was, ticking, knocking, clacking, from under valve cover, block, etc.)
Have you tried using a stethoscope to pin point the noise?
It's possible that you have a bad lifter, cam lobe, or spring - it might be time to pull the valve cover and look at the valve train once you determine where the sound is coming from and what it sounds like -
Sounds like a chirping type noise..coming from front of engine..I wanna say tensioner but don’t wanna randomly throw money at it as I have many other projects going..
