Default DIY Caliper Swap

I purchased new a 2013 blade silver M6 GS coupe that I've done a few mods on and get to the track 5 to 6 times a year for HPDE events. Some of the mods are LG long tube headers, coil over shocks, short throw shifter, etc. all of which installed by LG. I recently purchased a 2013 VY A6 vert GS that's become our cruiser.

The blade silver coupe had yellow calipers from the factory that I never really cared for. The VY vert has silver calipers with red Corvette lettering.
How difficult would it be to do a caliper swap between the 2 cars? I use DOT 4 brake fluid on the coupe that I HPDE and change it regularly myself and have also replaced brake pads and rotors on my own. I'm a beginner to intermediate DIYer and would like to try doing it, but wanted to ask before I take the plunge.

Thanks in advance.

Couple hours of labor and several pints of brake fluid. I would put stainless lines on at the same time.

Waste of money to change the lines IMO. Also....do a search and see how many people have had issues changing the lines. Multiple instances of people finding one of the fittings on the hardline deformed making it difficult to get a seal.

As far as the caliper swap....as mentioned above, just a couple hours. If you have both cars up on jack stands you can swap them quickly.

I would buy caps for the lines so fluid isn't simply draining out while you have the calipers off running between cars. You will also need new crush washers.

Also to point out, will need a tech II handy, since when you go to bleed the brakes in the end, may need to cycle the ABS pumps in each car to get air out of then during the powder flushes.

not if you don't loose a lot of fluid.. cap the lines to prevent that much fluid loss.

changed all four calipers on my C5 and didn't need a techII.. just bleed them like normal.

I went from Z51 to Z06 to Wilwoods and never used a tech II.

I have installed three sets of quality stainless lines with zero issues.
Stock calipers, Z06 calipers and Willwood calipers. Some people just should not be working on their own cars.

No offense to the OP but when someone describes themselves as a beginner to intermediate DIY, there's a pretty good chance they don't have the right tools for the job.
