NEW IGNITION SWITCH
Car starts fine, but when I press the ignition switch , to turn the car off. The car shuts off, but gos in accessory mode and kills the battery.

Disconnect the battery cables, touch the positive cable to the negative cable (both off the battery) to fully drain the electrical devices in the car to do a full hard reset, reconnect the cables to the battery, then try the button again.
If you still have the problem, then you have a faulty ignition switch that will need to be replaced.
If you want me to walk you throw pulling it apart to fix the problem, I can. The short version is the rocker front piece can be snapped off, that allow you to get to the internal contact parts to make sure that they have been seated correctly, and stayed seated correctly when the front rocker panel was snapped in place.
But since it new, and could be new defective (whole internal parts problem), then send it back to be replaced if hard resting the car is not solving the problem.
Now the Million Dollar question and where you have the same problems with the old switch, since I can't see both being same defective and causing the same problems.
