LS3 compression and leak down numbers
I also posted this on LS1tech.
This is my second LS3 Take out engine from the same supplier. 1st engine was suppose to have 120 miles, #8 cylinder leaked down past rings 60%. This second engine supposidily has 850 miles. It has 2 cylinders #7 and #8 that leak down 38% and 30%.
I'm posting pic of my work sheet. Engine is cold and has oil and filter installed. Oil has been confirmed out of oil sending unit tower. Please weigh in with your opinions.
Send it back is what I'm probably headed for.
