I really want to buy a Stage 2/3 btr cam for my 11 GS. However, I don’t know much about what all the numbers mean when selecting which one you want and accessories.. can someone link a few posts or educate me on what I need to know when caming my car?
I will I’ll be getting intake, lt headers/xpipe, cam at the same time.
If you found a vendor your purchasing through I recommend calling them on phone. Cam selection has many variables and they have a interest to inform you on the cam you really want.

I would like to go with Brian tooley. Like I know the cam I want to go with but when it comes to spring kit and length I’m lost lol.
Exactly they can recommend the appropriate spring. On length though I believe they sell you a “usually” works size and you measure to be damn sure. Adjust as necessary.
Call Tooley they are open today and they can give you a package with everything you need. Let them know what you want from the cam.
Are you a auto or manual transmission? (if auto you may have to add a stall converter)
What kind of driveability do you want (drive like/close to stock or more radical)?
Do you want a cam that has a lot of lope (car shakes) or not as much lope or it's hard to tell it has a cam?
What are your powergoals?
Does it normally surge at certain rpms?
Just remember if you keep the cam overlap under 5 degrees it will drive close to stock if not just like stock. Just trying to help
Another thing you can do is ask who's going to tune the car their input but from what I heard from some shops in my dealing is that they tend to go more for bigger cams and I didn't want that. I would love the power from it but I still want to enjoy driving the car. If you over cam the car you may not like it as much. Especially if it's a daily.
Talk to the tuners in your area they come across guys who's cars do exceptionally well and get info from then or just pay 40. bucks and get professional help have a cam spec for your car see link attached these guy will help with parts selection as well so is best to contact him before you start buying.

yah I am manul, I want to be quicker than stock but not sacrifice reliability/drivability. My goal is to be in the upper 400s low 500.

Drivability is going to be your opinion. Not much I can help you with on that. The only other question I can ask to maybe help you out or someone to chime in on helping you is.
Is it your daily driver and do you live in a place with a lot of traffic?
The BTR stage 2 has an overlap of: 5.5 degrees of overlap
The BTR stage 3 has an overlap of: 10.5 degrees of overlap
The BTR stage 3 will make more power in general maybe 10 or 15 rear wheel horsepower but will not have as good of driving manors as the stage 2.
Here's a cam thread I started a while back if your looking more toward the stage 2 side but I still suggest you talk with your tuner and call BTR.
Also don't get caught in the dyno number hype. Dyno's are just tools because dyno numbers are all over the place, it's all about the Seat of the Pants (SOTP) feel. Also if you get a baseline before and after on the same dyno you will see how much power you really picked up which is the more important thing instead of chasing numbers.
