lube for airbag clockspring

Default lube for airbag clockspring
replacing noisy clockspring with new. should the new clockspring be lubed? with silcon spring? lithium grease?

The clock spring is not serviceable that I am aware of. You should take it out of the box and install it as it comes.

As the post above said, I just took it out of the box and installed it. I have no noise a year later.
