Default CAM Install

I have a LS3 C6 Grand Sport and I'm looking to install a blower cam in my car. Outside of cam, lifter, springs, new cam gear, three bolt converstion and new roller rockers what else is required for this install.

I would add pushrods to the list as well as a LS2 timing chain tensioner.
While not necessary, you might consider a Melling oil pump and a new ATI or IW balancer while you’re at it.
BTW: Bear in mind that roller rockers are typically heavier than the stockers and may require a higher spring pressure to avoid valve float.
And oh, a healthy dose of patience when you’re dealing with removing the steering rack.

It's not so much HP output as camshaft lift. According to everything I've read, any cam with over .630" lift could cause the stock rockers to bind on the trunnion/fulcrum. This doesn't apply if you're using aftermarket trunnions though, as they are not limited in rotation. There's many guys running much higher than 700whp with stock rockers.

I recommend swapping to this oil pump...

Depending on millage you may want to include a heavy duty timing chain.

Good advice above. I have the Melling high pressure/ high volume pump and the C6R timing chain. Your best bet would be to contact someone like BTR and get them to put together a whole cam swap kit for you. Their off the shelf blower cams are nice too.
