Plate on the Transmission says Tuet10365.
Background is that i bought a complete clutch to halfshaft dropout from a guy who said it is a 2011 Z06 dropout and i wanted to swap it into my 06 Z.
Now the stuff arrived and i got a little concerned when i saw the sticker on top of the diff with z-51 3.42. Now i am afraid that he screwed me and i have a GS drivetrain with a MZ transmission instead of a MM. Would that be a downgrade from my stock Z06 t56 drivetrain even it is a tr6060 cause the rating of the GS transmission is even lower than the T56. I got the stuff pretty cheap so i don't know if i should Start a fight with the seller.

thanks

Haven't seen that TUET number before. Might try posting a pic or two.

You can count the output shaft splines. If it is a Z51 it will be 27, if Z06 it will be 30.

This thread from 2010 shows that it it's probably a base z51 unit:

You can always submit your numbers to Tremec customer service. I have found that they are very quick to respond

thanks racer....yep they were quick, replied an hour later with all info i needed and it is a 30spline output transmission so i´m gonna use it with my existing Z06 Diff and just have to use the longer Oil tube that is already included in the combo i bought.

thanks

Are you willing to share the info Tremec gave you? Like I originally said, I haven't seen that TUET number before so having related info on it could be helpful to someone in the future. Plus it looks like Rick from RKT was wrong and that's the first time I've seen that happen. TIA.

For sure i will.....like i said tremec customer service replied with the info that it is a 2010 mz6 transmission with the 30spline output shaft that was used in the GS with the stronger diff. I did pull it apart then to check myself and it was a 30spline. Rick has also been surprised because usually he is right on with his info. So i can either go ahead and use it as direct replacement with my TT and stock cradle or i can use the TT that came with, it but this is the shorter one used from 2010 up, and have to either notch the 06 cradle or take the 2010.
but to be honest i am not sure if it is a good idea to take the 430lbs/ft rated transmission behind my 560rwhp ls7..... At one point there's thousands of procharged GS driving around on stock drivetrains and looking at the "weaker t56" it was also taken a gazillion times to ridiculess torque levels.
