Attempting to install a bigger cam
I've done several tow cams In the past ,on old school 350s. I have a c6 I would like to attempt to cam my self. The question is: "can I cam and keep the lifters and push rods. If yes what cam size is recommended?"

Manual transmission, or Auto?, Ls2 or Ls3, or Ls7? What are your goals? Street? Drag? Raod racing? Garage queen? The pushrods in this engine are different than the old school one. You need to measure with a pushrod checker to determine proper length. They cost about $20.00
You need that classic loping sound? need more info....

Melting Slicks
Assuming an ls2 or ls3 duration around 227 228 @ .050 valve off the seat you can keep your lifters and push rods if you don't overdo the springs pressure and use a beehive conic spring rated @ .600 lift will still fit even if the cam lift is around .615 as coil bind is usually at plus .040 or more above advertise spring rated lift.
