Drivability should be good, especially if you choose the 114LSA option. You'll lose a little mileage in the city. Highway mileage shouldn't change much. I would guess 30-40hp over what you have now. A FAST intake mani would be a good bang for the buck addition to the cam. You'll need valve springs for sure and probably push rods too.

Agree. With an LS2, I'd probably do the FAST first, if budget doesn't allow both to be done.

Everyone likes the FAST, but I went with an MSD since it's almost the same price and makes more power - just a suggestion.

Had a 224r in my 99 Z28. Great cam. Made great power. If you have an A6 I’d highly recommend a converter (Yank SS3600).

I have the 224r cam in my 05 a4. Car has a ported fast 102, kooks off-road x and corsa extremes. Stayed with the stock converter and did 419/402 on the dyno. The dic states 17.4 in the city but I don’t think it’s that good. Love the torque down low in the power band. 113 lsa and idles at 675. Very pleased and could/would easily daily drive. 160 stat has never hit over 220 even in stop and go 95 degree Louisiana summer heat.
