Base C6 tire/wheel sizes
This has to have been asked a lot but I've been searching and couldn't find the answers.
What size wheels and tires would you recommend for a base c6 that sees HPDE track time? I've heard of people going with 18" wheels all around but then I hear there might be traction control issues? How wide can you go on the front with 18"s?
My goal is to eliminate understeer and make the car neutral, without losing grip when powering out of corners. Any advice towards that goal would be appreciated.

There are LOOOOTS of thread on what tire sizes you can fit on a base c6. From all the info I've read, I believe the biggest you can fit WITHOUT the potential for rubbing your fenders is 265 fronts and 295 rears (on the stock wheels). Some will disagree. Do a search, you'll find endless information.

In my experience, 295/30-18 (285 for bfg r1s) front and 315/30-18 rear has been the best setup. 18x10 or 18x10.5 for a track car in front and 18x11 rear. More limited tire options for narrow body cars.
