07 base with vararam, noticed when at a stop light IAT would rise quickly and even on highway driving it would be A few degrees higher than ambient. Yesterday I decided to loosely wrap the MAF sensor with some cheap foil bubble insulation, noticed at highway speed temp was about the same as ambient, and at lights it rose very slow and droped
back to ambient quickly. This was loged using my bluedriver scan tool. Anyone else notice if wrapping it gave the same effects? Not a fan of how it looks but if it helps performance and mileage maybe I'll leave it on.
