Default Transmission Cooling Kit

My 08 base Vette that I take to the track sometimes has 130.000, still going strong and recently thinking about adding a transmission cooling kit. There are lots of aftermarket kits to choose from but I don't know the most basic of things, that is, where should I connect the IN/OUTs tubing somewhere on the tranny to loop the coolant thru the external radiator?

Thanks a lot for the advice

A6 or M6? What kinds of temps are you seeing? Lots to plan for, location of external radiator for one. The A-6 has a transmission cooler built into the radiator, maybe consider a larger radiator first, its easier.

Thanks for the reply! I forgot to mention, its A-6. I have not noticed high temps but noticed some slipage at lower gears randomly (only when the car is hot), cold never happens. I've added a transmission fluid additive a while ago (I think is just a thicknener/sealer), and the problem largely went away. Of course as the car gets hotter the fluid's viscosity goes down. So I've been thinking if adding better cooling to the tranny would help further. It's possible (at 130K miles) that maybe I'll need sooner or later some sort of transmission work or repair, which will not be a simple or cheap job for sure. But because the issue is very minor and random only when the car is running hotter, maybe better cooling can inexpensively keep this on track for now. It's been a great car, zero major problems. Love it.
