I think that its only 2005-2010 with Non USB Navigation Radio Models. I installed a 2012 Nav Radio and the Clock works and It did have the battery unhooked to install!

I did! First I talked to Singapore and asked if they could speak English. They said Oh No Crock? I said Oh No Crock here either! LOL. Transferred to an American who said this is the First they've heard of it! LOL. They would not issue a case! I asked! Then I got the run a round from the infotainment center. Next Call was to Valley Auto Parts to buy a USB radio. Grrrrrrrrr!

I just added one to my '08 Grand Prix GXP as well and have been scratching my head as to why the clock wasn't working. Now I know why I guess.

No, I didn't call them regarding the 2005 vs 2006 mistake in the bulletin. I originally call them on 1/17/18 and gave them my info. If a firmware fix is released I will call them again if they don't call me first. This issue is affecting enough vehicles with Denso Nav units that there should be some type of fix released to address the issue. Other manufactures have had similar issues (Acura/Honda in 2017) and have had them fixed. Hoping for the same thing here, just have to wait and see.

wait, you lose the heads up display by switching out the radio?

Well, I opened the nav door and it would not retract and all the buttons on the radio stopped working.
I made it home and unplugged the battery for 10 minutes, reconnected the battery, and everything started working again as it should.
I had the GPS with the slash through it, so I took the car for a short drive and the Slash and GPS logo went away and the car started tracking to the correct streets.
So all is well except now I have no clock. It does not allow me to adjust it. Everything is blank in the adjustment screen and pushing any buttons does not help.
GPS antenna problem ? I don't know....
