My GPS symptom is the NAV is slow to connect. But the "no GPS" symbol does eventually go away and the NAV comes to life.
While getting to that point the NAV shows a map of our city but shows my car in the wrong place. Not sure of how it even gets a map with no GPS signal.
Fingers crossed that the clock eventually works. I'm planning to sell my 2010 but don't really want to with anything not 100% correct.

I've had success making complaints to the Better Business Bureau when having trouble with other companies. If GM does not do anything that is certainly an avenue of redress worth trying. Also I suggest the FCC since its an airwaves issue.
Has anyone heard anything from GM that indicates they are working on it?

Well went for a 10 am MDT drive and no clock.
It took about 5 minutes for my GPS to connect on the way out and it never connected on the way back.
Time to up the ante and complain to the FCC and BBB.

Probably time to put a fork in it. I took my 07 out this afternoon and the clock is still dead. It did link up with the satellites and the NAV itself worked but any time related functions, ETA, clock etc. are history.

Has anyone tried disconnecting the battery and then going for a drive? Just a thought. The clock may not reset until then. Im going to give it a shot tomorrow.

I tried that on my Cadillac today. No dice.

Just registered to be able to reply in this thread.
Although I do not have a Corvette, being a SAAB-driver, we share the navigation problem.
I've done some "thinking" and looked into the binary on the DVD.
Most of the stuff there is from around the time the GPS rollover happened the last time, in 1999 (yes, a lot of stuff in the software is that old).
My guess is that someone at Denso did a boo-boo. The GPS week is stored in a 10-bit number (0-1023), but I think they just had a bit of slip and decided 999 was enough.
If the problems started to happen when the counter exceeded 999, it should have started in october 2018, and I think that is pretty accurate, we started hearing about this somewhat later, but it's not like you remove power from your car every day.
If so, then we can conclude that the problem lies with the 10-bit number being stripped of some data due to some bug in the software and week numbers above 999 will confuse the gps and so, it has no idea what week/date it is, and also, not the time.
If they made that boo-boo, I think they probably made the same mistake with the week number being too low, namely 0 (zero). If that is true, the clock should start working next sunday when it's GPS week 1 (one).
Best case: next sunday all will be fine until sometime around 2038.
Mid case: next sunday, the GPS thinks it's 1999 again and the date will be off and it will still be slow to find it's position (due to calendar being wrong with regards to satellites position) but the time will be correct.
Next worst case: It will take around 5 years until the GPS week number is around where it was when the GPS was launched and it will assume it's 2005 or thereabouts and hopefully time will be restored.
Worst case: it won't ever work, due to the bug not being able to understand the week numbering ever again.

Changed the battery in my 2009 Corvette and now no clock.
Contacted GM as per advise on this Forum.
Felt like I was spinning my wheels talking to rep. Finally got a case number. She took all my info, including vin#, she said there are no recalls on vehicle. Told her about GM bulletin PIT5652. Which clearly shows GM is aware of the problem. SHE HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE BULLETIN. She insists on me bringing the car to the dealership.
I contacted the dealership, by phone. I spoke to the Customer Experience Mgr. He told me there is currently no fix from GM or the radio manufacturer. HE DID SUGGEST THAT THERE IS AN OUTSIDE CHANCE THAT THIS PROCEDURE MIGHT WORK....He suggested to disconnect both battery terminals then to touch and hold both terminals together for at least 30 seconds. He said this reboots the system. I asked him if it were safe to do this. He said that it is common practise and a long shot might work. I have not tried it yet but will soon.

Looks like a new head unit is on order. If they ever come up with a firmware fix Ill put the old back in and switch my new head unit to another car. I really don't expect that they will fix this since these cars are so far out of warranty. Oh well chalk it up as maintenance and go on. After all it is just a clock but might as well use it for a reason to upgrade.
