not giving you a hard time or anything like that I just see lots of post from you convertible guys trying to keep those roofs attached lol, good look man! I’m working a similar version of I guess on the ZO6 side....got that airbag warning light coming on but lucky me I’ve read all the fixes already and know what I can do to fix it or hopefully lol

So I found a broke wire in the connector for the partition switch. So the top is moving. Yay, it goes halfway up and stops, so at least it's half way repaired 😁 Where is the best place to buy micro switches. I assume the dealer is the only place?
I looked thru all 68 posts but did see the answer I was comfortable with.

I have never had to replace those switches, usually just a slight bend until it makes. Now that you have the new one just keep bending it until it makes with the top latched...
You could test it by just pushing in on the switch with a small screw driver. If it doesn’t go away then there is a wiring issue.

yes, if you press against it with a screwdriver you should hear it click. They are just real basic micro switches. I had this problem with my ‘05 right after I got it in ‘07 and looked on here for help. All I got was “take it to the dealer”. I found the switch and “tweaked” the metal arm and the switch and the issue was resolved.
LOL, just found my thread from 2007, my last post on it detailed what I did to resolve the issue.

Thanks for the response, I've checked all of the switches in the system, they all work, I even replaced the header switch, but I still have the issues.

I think he is saying they could be working but not activated at the proper location of the stop...They work manually but not firing off at the correct location of the top...
Not a lot of vert experience but micro switches are usually on/off.. good luck

yes, thank you for the response, I've tried playing around with the switches bending the tabs to try to get them to react sooner, but didn't have a lot of luck. One thing that's puzzling me is the fact that the header switch is making contact with the PIN, it has continuity from the switch when the top is is up, but the drivers information control center continues to display top not secure. There's also a main switch it is under the main bow when the top is up it is also depressed. I may have to get somebody with a Tech 2 to scan the car

Update: I figured out using a scanner, that some of the parameters were not correct, namely, the motor was listed as LS3, it's not, it's an LS2, also it showed no folding top.
I checked the part number on the BCM and realize that it was from a 2008 car, my car is a 2006, so I replaced the BCM with the correct part and now the top works as it should. The only problem I have now is I still get the D I C message top not secure not sure what's going on there must be a cut wire some where.
