Default Drivers Side Seat Removal

I'm replacing my stock seats with OMP race seats. I've taken the 4 nuts off that hold the seat to the floor. I've got 2 separate wiring harnesses coming from under the carpet that run to the seat bottom. The first wiring harness has a clip on both ends and easy to unplug. I can't locate a clip to unplug the second harness. I don't want to cut any wires if I don't need to.

Any help much appreciated!

Removed mine a bunch last year and I'm pretty sure it had 3 wiring harnesses. A large black one with a pink release lever, a small black one, and then a yellow one with blue pins. Might need to specify which one you're talking about.

The bottom pic shows the 4 wires wrapped in black that appear to be hard wired to the seat w/o a way to disconnect w/o cutting the wires.

I'm also showing the harness with the light blue connector that's been disconnected.

ALL HELP, COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED.

Cheers!!!

Try taking a photo from a bit more distance, since what you mention as the problem area doesn't appear to relate to any other area. i.e. Where do the ends of the wire go?

most connectors have a small tab that needs to be depressed before they will separate, and air bag connectors have a pin that goes through similar setup. remove the pin, depress the lock and slide apart.

There was a service bulletin out for the airbag light. The fix was to remove the plug and splice the harness together.

http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...2017-1328.html

I recalled my car getting it done but didnt actually look into it until it came time to install some OMP seats as well. I just unzipped the stock seat cover, unplug the connector on the side airbag and pulled the harness out.

Many thanks to you!!! I was going crazy trying to figure this out.

What seat / floor bracket did you use to install your OMP seat?

I got the OMP side brackets and the Planted floor bracket but going to return since I don't think they'll work.
