Le Mans Master
Does look rich.
But, as I understand, OP states last time the engine was run it was idling for extended period?
FWIW Replacing at 63K is not a bad thing, can research Utube etal for gap/ puck wear/ etc. and
if the engine is stock, I'd again replace with OEM spec.

12 years, I was worried about thread seizing, they have some type of anti-seize on them, so that was easy.
Getting the plug wires off the plugs was very difficult my hands look like I got in a fight with a cheese grater.
The have plenty of dielectric grease on them now

Curious, do you have any modifications?
Corsa axle back
Do you use any fuel additives like Techron or octane boosters?
it has a bunch a stay-bil in it
They look on the rich side to me as well.
once spring rolls around and I can actually drive it, I will pull an easy one and re-check after a couple tanks of gas

This *could* be causing the richer mixture but I wouldn't think so with just an axle back. An air intake maybe.

This is probably why they have that reddish color to them, no biggie.
I'm also a little concerned about how much oil is on the threads. What are your driving habbits like? May be in the need for an "Italian Tune-Up" once in a while to blow some stuff out of there.
