Did you check for correct push rod length. Most aftermarket cams with higher lift figures are ground on a smaller base circle. That requires a longer push rod depending on how much smaller the base circle is. A pushrod set that is too short (not enough preload) will cause valve train noise.
No, I'm rocking the 7.4 pushrods. Everything I've read said that since I'm keeping stock rockers and have not milled the heads that the 7.4s are what I need. They were also suggested to me by BTR given the cars current engine state. I wouldn't disagree though that the proper way to know would be to measure.
BTR should know if the base circle on their cam is small enough to justify a longer push rod. If they said the stock length PR is good, I'd eliminate that as a source of your noise. BTR cams don't usually have extremely high lift lobes that some cam companies promote.
Spin the oil filter off make sure you are not getting glitter in the oil. if you do something in the valve train is making your chirping noise. I had a failed lifter and it made a chirping noise and wiped out the cam lobes. ( I know you installed new LS7 lifters) but just a quick check wont hurt.
I thought a little bit of glitter was normal? How do I know if I have too much?
Well if you didn't get glitter before the cam swap and now you are after then its something that you just did. You usually get a bit of glitter after you rebuild the motor, all you did was a cam swap so as long as your oil was clean before and clean now then you're fine.
Did you ever find out what it was? I can't see your video but I have an intermittent chirp or squeal that is not in the belts that I'm still trying to find.
