Yes sir was just reading them sorry shoild should have done that first. Seems Chevy should have made a decal on this issue lol

They don't break often on individual cars. Looks like they get brittle and snap when a car is about 10-11 years old. Most that have snapped seem to be 2009 and earlier. Some later cars as well of course but it definitely seems to be more a matter of time and not mileage. I replace mine in my 2007 last year and should be good for another 10 years
