I guess I got lucky because nothing is contacting my hood insulation pad ... no marks on it from rubbing.

My only problem was where I mounted my MightyMouse oil catch can .... The filter on top of the catch can was too high and I could not close my hood.

So, I modified the top of the catch can and eliminated the filter that was mounted on top of it.

The lines associated with the catch can are routed like in the diagram below:

Again, looks great in there! I don't recall seeing that in the Magnuson instructions......did I just miss it and it was part of the SC kit, or is that separate purchase?

BTW ....

Reading the NOTE above in the diagram I posted ... Here is a photo of that U-Shaped PCV tube that you remove when installing a catch can on these engines that have the Heartbeat SC.

The catch can is a separate purchase ... Not really needed, but helps keep oil from going into the SC housing.

Roger that, more great info, thanks! I'll save your info and contact you when I've made my decisions and pull the trigger.....will be a while, but I've decided I gotta have one of these Magnuson Superchargers on my GS C6!

Okie Dokie ....

The thing that's nice about the Heartbeat install is that you don't need to remove the hood or the front bumper cover from the car.

The big pain in the *** job is pinning the harmonic balancer .... I paid a shop to replace mine and then pin it ... but installed the SC myself, along with my son-in-law in my garage.
