Default Spit/Backfire on wot LS3
Right now I have CAI, Headers, Catless x-pipe and tune. Tune was about a month ago, recently when I go wot I get an intial spit/backfire that causes a slight hesitation before my car takes off. Any idea what might be causing this? I thought about switching the plugs but I’m not sure, any help is appreciated.

I’ve seen a dirty mass air sensor cause this. Buy the special cleaner from your local parts store and give it a try.

Check the coil pack and wiring harness too.

Also check your plugs. The backfire can mean that the iridium tip just broke off. Running too lean maybe.

More often than not problem is plug wire or plug when engine is under load such as wot.
