Default LS3 Fuel Rail Cover install

Just received my painted to match LS3 fuel rail covers. Didn't come with any instructions on removing the factory covers and installing the new painted ones so I'm looking for info here.
Thanks

they're friction/rubber fitted on. you'll wanna disconnect the fuel line on the driver side before you pull that one so when you install the new one it wont scratch it up.

The fuel rail covers are just a press fit. Grasp the original ones & apply upward pressure....they will pop off. No need to disconnect the fuel line. Just get a hair dryer & heat the area around the line. That will softer the material & you can gently bend out of the way to clear the line. Do the same to install the new covers, but also apply painters tape around the split as further safety against any scratches. Once in place, just push down to lock in place.

Thanks for the response. Was hoping I wouldn't have to disconnect the fuel line.

You do not have to disconnect the fuel line. The tool is cheap it's easy to do and no worries on damaging the paint. YouTube has a few videos.
