Default High idle and jumpy throttle

Ok, so hoping the great minds in here might be able to help. Have a 2007 base. I was getting codes for the throttle sensor which then morphed into my motor going into safe mode so took it to the shop and they said it was a bad throttle body. Bought a new one and now the thing idles high. When I start it up it sits at 900 rpm and then will level out at 600 rpm. But once I touch the pedal it will jump to 900 and takes a little bit to come down to 600 again. I ran codes on it today and there were none, so watched the diagnostics while running and the throttle positions return to normal (D-22%, E-10.6%) when pushed, but the THROT CMD hangs at 12% when I push the pedal and hang for awhile even with my foot off, and then will eventually drop to 6%. I'm hoping it's not the new throttle body I bought. Could it be a throttle sensor even with no codes? Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks!

No I bought it from Corvette Central and installed it. The dealer wanted $1200 to install a $400 part. How do you perform a throttle relearn? I had read in another forum to disconnect the battery, put the leads together for 2min and then hooked it back up, but didn't fix anything. Still idles high.
