Default Rear wheel hub/bearing replacement

I’m confused. Looking at SKF ZR1 wheel bearings and I see a price of $350-425.

there is a thread here that says part# 19208047 is an SKF ZR1 bearing. Here it is priced $150. https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...aring-19208047

what is the difference?

SKF has different versions of their hubs. The $400 (on sale for $369) version is their "racing" hub. The cheaper versions are more of a street hub. So no, they are not the same hubs.

These are the $369 SKF racing hubs.
TPS Motorsports would like to introduce a performance hub for your C5 and C6 with the heart of a ZR1. SKF manufactures the hub unit for the ultimate Corvette, the new ZR1 and is offering the same technology to the C5 and C6 owner.

The SKF Corvette Racing Hub unit is designed to provide high stiffness during cornering, thereby reducing piston knock-back and the need to tap the brakes (confidence tap). It is also designed for durability and to maintain preload at sustained loading of 1.2g! All this adds up to faster lap times and better driver feedback. If you have upgraded your Corvette's performance, you will want these SKF hubs.

You gain increased stiffness for better brake performance under high loads, higher preloads, <10 micron run-out and much increased durability. Under race and competitive use you may go an entire season without replacement.

Improve your Corvette's handling, brake performance and hub durability with these new SKF Performance hubs.

PLEASE NOTE: From 1997-2008 GM used 30 Spline hubs. During the 2009 Model year GM decided to upgrade all cars to the C6 Z06/ ZR1 33 Spline hubs. If you have a 2009 NON-Z06/ NON-ZR1 Corvette you will need to pull the hubs off and count the splines to ensure you are ordering the correct hubs. If you have a C6 Z06 or ZR1 you will need to order the 33 Spline Version

Part # 5049D (1997-2008)-30 Spline
Part # 5044C
(2009-2013)-33 Spline

The X tracker is a higher quality unit which most of the racers and HPDE guys go too.. SKF offers a more OEM replacement version. at a lower cost. The x trackers are the same part for the front and rear. I do not know about front rear interchange on the OEM replacement option.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-corvette.html

You'll find your best prices on the x trackers looking through the Autocross section and Autocross classifieds.

So what I thought was hub noise ended up to be a rear diff that needed service. A flush and fill with GM found and all is good My front right hub was worn and I can confirm that the hub I bought did fit. They fit all 4 corners as was stated.

I know this is an old thread but the 30 spline race is hard to find. Moose, is this the Part # 5049D (1997-2008)-30 Spline equivalent?

Phoenix racing posts in the Autox section and is one of the shops most likely to have SKF xtrackers in stock.

There is also a company that sells the 33 spline unit for the older 1997-2008 cars (passive sensors) now - called Mechanical Power Inc. they have a posting here now. So you can now run the ZR1 axles on the older cars now once you get these new wheel bearings.
