Weight of your C6
I had my car weighed prior to shipping and it clocked in at 3217 with a qtr tank of gas. That seemed a little light to me....what are you guys weighing in at.

Model, trim level, options, trans and fluid levels all have an impact on weight.
The lightest c6 would be a manual trans 1LT, non-z51, non-NPP, coupe (aka on CF as base). EDIT: except some z06s as noted below.
From a quick search, most report their c6 coupe weight at around 3120 to 3280lbs depending upon the variables listed above.

C6 z06 weights increased over the years due to various upgrades and changes. Not 100% certain, but I believe the 2006 was the lightest. A later z07 and carbon package car would likely also be a contender for lightest z06.
So yes, one of those z06s would be lighter than many base coupes (again depending upon the variables). However, later z06s were above 3300lbs, which would make them heavier than many base coupes.

I have a 2013 1LT M6 coupe. I'll have to crawl it up on a scale and see what it weighs. I added LT headers with catless X and ZR1 mufflers. That might skew things a bit.

I have a 2013 base C6 with a four point roll bar. I used it for NASA time trials and got weighed many times in impound with about 3/4 tank of gas and it weighs 3200 lbs by certified scales. ZO6s usually were only about 50 lbs lighter due to the aluminum and carbon fiber but bigger wheels, brakes, ground effects, etc.
