I have a 2007 track built z07 I got from a friend for a really good price most of that had to do with him blowing the motor and catching the car on fire. The damage wasn't that bad at all so I decided to rebuild it and I have it all complete except for the motor. I have been holding back because I wasn't sure the route I wanted to take. So that's why I am here looking for some advice. I want to push upwards of 700 hp and stick with the Ls7. I'm planning to buy all the parts and build it with my dad who has some engine building experience.
My question is what do I need in terms of cams, pistons, heads, valve springs, injectors, and etc. to get to around 700+ hp. I want it to be able to hold the power and not blow up again so what are the main things I need to upgrade to keep it in one piece but also push for big hp. rolled her outside so here's some pictures of my progress so far. Its almost done just looking for a good heart
