Default Exhaust manifold gasket install - which direction?

It's been a couple years since I installed my headers and used aftermarket gaskets.

One of the gaskets blew and I'd like to go back to OEM. I can't remember or seem to find anywhere which direction the OEM gaskets face, as they are not symmetrical. Or does it not matter?

Can anyone point me in the right direction? LS3 motor.

Bump.
Metal gasket...with a ridge pressed into it...raised ridge towards head or exhaust manifold/ header tube?
FWIW I think that is the question restated...I'd like to know too.

Google search might be your friend here. Looks like the raised ridge towards the manifold. At least for this brand:

about 3/4 th's of the way in he talks about it.

For anyone else looking for this it's actually stamped on the OEM gasket. It says which is the manifold side and which is down.

Just didn't check before I posted.
