Default 6l80e or converter problem!

I have a 07 LS2 z51, recently I've been having problems with either my trans or converter or so I believe it's one of those two. The car has a v3 ti trim 4" pulley and a 228/230 588/592 112+4 cam with trunion upgrade pushrods valvesprings oil pump timing chain etc. Its still a SBE car has full exhaust and a fti triple billet lockup converter 3000 stall the trans was fully built by Adam Cooper @ Ace Performance. Long story short whenever I go WOT and then come to a stop if I give the car gas it seems to struggle like it's not going into gear rpms go up a bit but if I pull over shut the car off and turn it back on put it back into drive everything is fine like nothing ever happened. No engine codes or anything pop up either on the car.

Scan the car anyway as some of the codes may have been shut off in the tune.

You are going to need someone who has a laptop and can do a scan as you drive and this happens

Have you called the Adam Cooper @ Ace Performance where the tranny was built to see what they might think?

To me it sounds solenoid related.

Thanks, Matt

So I scanned my car this morning and it came back with a code; P0716 Input/turbine speed sensor a circuit range/performance. From what I researched it could be multiple problems. Faulty input/turbine speed sensor, damaged wiring, failed shift solenoid, faulty output speed sensor, torque converter issue, ecu/tcm programming issue.

It's worth calling and letting the builder of the tranny know what's going on and what code is popping up.

They probably will be able to get you taken care of.

Thanks, Matt
