New update door release
Ok so I broke down and called the dealer on why my 05 is having issues with brand new release outside buttons bought from them. Apparently or what they are telling me is the 05 and the new updated buttons are not 100% compatible and they need the car in to run the scantool on it to reprogram. What are they going to program it's just a button with a circuit board that makes contact when pressed. I have the car setup to go in monday to have it done but seems kinda weird as to why it needs to be done.

Hmmmm I dont need the fob around to open the doors if left unlock. If I put the old release button in works flawless everytime- new buttons either huge delay or the light blinks and window indexes but door wont open, release press again same thing, release and press again door opens maybe, maybe not try again lol....
