Setrab FP625M221 it's a 6 series 25 row with fanpack and it fits on the pass side but you should remove the foglight for airflow and drill holes in the fender liner.

Finally someone else with a similar setup to mine! I'm running a Setrab 6-series 34-row in the driver-side foglight area. I still have the light in place.

These have a LOT more cooling capacity than the B&M coolers that are popular. Mine is keeping 550 WHP with 3400 stall 3-disc converter under 210 °F on the road course and under 180 °F on the street (100 °F+ ambient temps). I am running mine with an Improved Racing inline thermostat to get up to operating temperature quickly.

I'm hopefully going to get some photos of my setup for another member today; may throw them in this thread for reference as well.

My 1st cooler was a B&M 70273 (15K BTU). I mounted it behind the Vararam at the bottom of the AC condenser. It worked OK in series with the OEM radiator cooler. Later I switched to bypassing the radiator and it worked better, but took a while to get up to temps. After I nudged too far over a tall parking curb and pushed the cooler into the condenser, I opted for a Derale 51078 IIRC series 10000 (20K BTU) and built a simple bracket to mount it near the same place, but not where it could damage the condenser so easily. It works better than the B&M IMHO, but still is slow to get to normal temps.

I bought a thermostat, but it really doesn't work well. Looking at other options for the winter.

What t-stat are you running? The Improved Racing inline thermostats are very not cheap, but I have been impressed with the warm-up time and the temperature stability. I am routed through the trans cooler in my DeWitts, then the thermostat, then the Setrab.

I'm using the Derale 13011 inline 180 F stat. It's either crap or the valve never operated. Since it didn't seem to process the flow well enough to bring the temps up quickly, I reversed it and nothing changed. I was running a 4000 stall Yank and needed to get to 160 F to avoid shifting issues at WOT, yet stay below 200 F for normal street use in AZ Summers. Planning on running two coolers with an electric solenoid valve to feed either the low capacity cooler or both coolers. I'm not interested in putting extra loads on the radiator or heating the fluid and immediately cooling it again to go back to the trans.

Im running a Tru-cool 40k THICK cooler in front of my radiator and my trans temps never get above 170 on hard pulls and stays in the 165's.

Do you have pictures of your setup? My cooler got ripped out and I’m trying to see where I’m supposed to mount it in original position. Mines on the passenger side with no fog light!?

The photos in this thread are the best that I have:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1607207469

This thread has the latest photos of how I have my cooler mounted. I have since flipped the cooler upside down (to put the fittings on the top of the cooler), because the fittings were rubbing against the plastic on the bottom of the fender. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I took any photos of the cooler when I did this (probably because my hands were full of transmission fluid!).

I am sure that I'll have my car on the lift soon for an oil change, so I can try and get some better photos, if you need any.
