question, replacing the window regulator c6

question, replacing the window regulator c6
if you replace the window regular can it be done without a teck2 in other words can you just pull it out and put a new one plug and play? my problem is only my inside door button does not open the door latch,,,i was told by the dealer it is the window regular ,window works find ,,do you guys agree? tonycorvettes

My 05 has an intermittent button problem. Sometimes when you hit the button the window will index down and back up but the door does not open. I put in a regulator last year after the window was SCREAMING going up and down. You can pop the button out without taking the door panel off. I’ll try what you sugggest
