My pushrods were too long in my LS3 build. I had some 7.4" ones "in stock" from another build. Figured I'd try them. They had about 1.625 turns past 0 lash of the rocker arm bolts to get to 22'/lbs. Engine nosed over pretty hard at 6200 rpm. Ran fine under 6200. 7.35" push rods cured things. It revs clean to 7K rpm now.
