HELP PLEASE Shifter assembly and computer
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
2008 Corvette automatic. Shifter was stuck between N and D. Left car in N all night with E Brake on. Started up in the morning like nothing. After bringing in to a shop for the entire shift assembly to be replaced. I pick it up all seems well. I get it home after making a few stops. Each time I got into the car to restart while in Park. When I push break pedal an alert says” shift car to park” which it is or I wouldn’t be able to start it and the car wasn’t moving while in park position. Battery was dead by morning. Seems like the computer is reading that the shifter is not engaged in Park. Is there a setting? Is the assembly not in correctly? Any help please guys. Acc. stays on. Can’t figure this one out
