I just saw a video uploaded October 2019 where these guys were installing a C5 dif on a C6 and said they had just bought the adapter plates that fit into the crossmember triangles, but they didn't say where - so somebody is making these. If anyone knows where to get a set please let me know, thanks.
When I look at older posts there seems to be a few different styles of brackets too.
One person complained of a lot of vibration using one of the adapter styles, not sure which one; if anyone has experience with these would be curious to know if you ran into vibration or issues.
The adapter kits that I've seen pictures of basically fit plates into the triangles holes of the crossmember, you could probably just make yourself or cut templates and have them made; the rubber bushing in-between the crossmember and differential appears to be the only hard part?
I'm pretty sure those 2 outer holes on the top plate bolt right to the diff eliminating the factory C5 mount. That assembly bolted down with the bolt going through both plates with the bottom plate against the cradle certainly doesn't properly create a bushed mount.
The C5 mount might be too tall to fit in there. Otherwise, I'd wonder if you could use it somehow possibly with some plates filling in the holes.
I wouldn't trust that mount to attach the diff. It is attaching to a point that wasn't designed to carry the load. Further the diffs tend to move around under load and aftermarket mounts try to limit the movement of the diff. The adapter in the video uses a single bolt on the subframe side.
