Default C6z header glowing red. cause?

in need of help locating problem and or what steps to do to figure out the issue
heres how it started
the car is a 08 c6z with ecs kit and Meth stock pump, stock injectors(yea I know waiting for trouble)
I did a small pull and when I let off the car felt sluggish and was cutting out I couldn’t even give it throttle ( like a misfire) I let it roll for a couple seconds and it came back fine.... I pulled over and noticed the header was glowing red.. I took the car straight home( half a mile down the street) and it started and drove fine all temperatures normal oil pressure normal fuel pressure normal at idle it gets 15 vacuum like it should.... now it has a very slight hissing chop sound at idle.. I will try to post a video here soon. This morning I noticed that one of my injectors was leaking fuel... could that of caused the glowing red headers? From the cylinder being lean and heating up? Both header banks are glowing red
what should I inspect first and so on any simple tests I can do ? The car starts fine

I would imagine that with stock injectors you are going lean and overheating things. Other possible problem would be clogged cats.

Do not do any kind of pull with a supercharged engine running stock injectors. Do you have any kind of tune other than stock?

You have a nice car. Get set up properly so you don't destroy your engine (if you haven't already cause any damage which you may have).

yes it has a custom tune for the kit and methanol at base 5psi
the car ran fine for over a year... I’m guessing the injector just gave out from being on high duty cycle that long...

Main question I have is if my injector failed... would both sides of exhaust glow... even tho the injector failed on one side?

No not usually.

You may have been knocking excessively that it pulled a LOT of timing.

My guess as well. Retarded timing = overheating exhaust

anything I can do without taking it to a tuner? Any other tests I can do ensure that’s the problem

Any reason why you used the stock injectors since injectors come with the kit?

I haven’t changed anything to the car other that a refresh on the tune about a couple months ago and it ran fine... I was guessing that they were stock injectors cause the car only made 610-615 whp on 5psi and the after 6krpm it runs out of fuel

So you don’t have an AFR gauge? If not you should get one immediately, most important gauge for a car like this.

I had an injector get stuck/clogged, lucky me I was stopped at a light just idling saw my AFR drop super low and then noticed smoke out of the exhaust. Pulled into a parking lot and had it towed back to my shop. You need an AFR gauge.

The hissing could be indicative of a burnt exhaust valve
