Default Air Filter Part Numbers

Hello All,

2010, base car

Going to replace my air filter with an ACDelco unit. However, two part numbers popping up (see links):Which is correct?

@dr_gallup made this thread a while back, but it concerns GS models... which I thought might be different than base cars.

Thanks so much!

The difference between the 2 is that grill, part 13 in the diagram. With the A3077C the grill is a separate piece. With the A3107C the grill is part of the filter media.

I purchased the A3077C (separate grill) on the recommendation of @4SUMERZ and the diagram. So, do I need to buy a new grill piece too? Or reuse the old one?

Remove the grill cover from the old, clean it and attach to the new filter element.

The LS3 and LS7 filter are the same. The LS9 filter used to be a higher flow filter, but they changed it, and now it's the same

Same filter material as the old style LS3/LS7. The later cars all came from the factory with the LS9 filters, likely to offset the power loss of the 4 cats. Now they only make the one material, but it comes with or without the grill
