C6 Key Fob issue
Gonna try and explain this as best as I can, bear with me.
No key fob detected at startup and turn off is an intermittent issue with my 09 base convertible. I hear the relays clicking at startup, but still have to place the fob in the slot in the glove box sometimes. Yesterday I couldn’t open the doors, so I had to go in thru the trunk and then place the fob inside the glove box a few times to get her to start. I only had to put fob in glove box one other time the rest of the day, even though I could hear the relays clicking in the RCDLR. I’ve replaced the batteries in each fob, and went as far as making sure the battery connections inside the fob were making good contact, and tested the voltage on the battery.
I read somewhere that there may be a loose connection inside the RCDLR. If so does anyone have a pic of which connection is the issue? Has anyone else suffered with this issue, and found a way to fix other than replacing the RCDLR?
