Default Whiteline GTO Engine Mounts

I'm curious if anyone else here has tried GTO Whiteline Motor Mounts W92930. They seem similar in design to the pFadt motor mounts, but significantly cheaper, and cheaper than the Hinson mounts and the C6 and GTO seem to share the same engine mounts. The bushings also look replaceable versus the Hinson mounts.

I am looking for something stiffer than stock, but not solid, since this is a daily driver.

Thoughts?

Waste of money, buy AMT Motorsports engine mounts and never look back.

That wasn't a super productive response.

I would also be interested, not sure why some vendors say BOTH (GTO/Vette) same and most say not compatible. I used a bunch of whiteline stuff on my GTO and STI and those communities love their products *Whiteline*

Those from whiteline will fit and are actually very nice a big plus is only remove one bolt each side to rise the engine or lower the cradle make very easy to work on the car or if you ever need to remove the engine no need to remove anything other than the two bolts when is time to put the engine back aligning for the bolt is easy plus they are of smaller diameter than oem so much more room to work around them specially the starter& ac compressor.

I can tell what I have and what I know if they don’t exist any more why are considering them?
I own a 2006 GTO and a C6 corvette GS and these cars engine mounts fit each other in fact the engine mounts in my C6 rite now are sold for the GTO and is a fact for people who like me actually work and do everything on their cars that-that LS engine mount design is brilliant.

So you have the Whiteline W92930 on your C6 right now?

I did order these Whiteline engine mounts and have them installed on my C6. I measured them against the stock mounts and they are identical height and bolt right in. They seem to be good quality and the GTO forums have great things to say about these mounts. I can't really speak to longevity quite yet, but will update this thread as time goes on.

I specifically wanted something like these or the Hinsons rather than a bolt through design as I felt the bolt-through design would create more NVH. I'm hoping these don't increase NVH too much since they aren't a solid bolt design.

Yeah I had considered what you had said about the bolt pass through. Im not an engineer but I feel like that really isnt the best design. Have you seen the cut-away of the Hinson mount? Thats what convinced me that bolt pass through was NOT the best idea.

I bought the Whiteline W92930 from ebay, $118 plus fees. As stated before, for my GTO and STI I loved there stuff.

Amazing how forum jumping every vehicle has the 'brand' of preference. Corvette forum reminds me of my days on Lexus forums..... DIY and 'cheap' mods are booed and flamed off the forum. I like forums as a place to learn, contribute and have camaraderie with others of similar interests. This 'Corvette' tax deal is crap btw

Long-term bump... did anybody end up driving on these Whiteline engine mounts? I just ordered a set, intending to use them on my C5 Z06, and am curious how they've worked out in Corvettes.

Still going strong in my C6. Only about 10,000 miles on them, but still look good and work well. And, like others said, much more room to work around than the stockers.

They are quite a bit firmer than stock, so expect an increase in NVH.

Never used a set of Whiteline motor mounts but when I owned a 2006 GTO, I ended up replacing near every bushing in the suspension with Whiteline parts. Very high quality so I have no doubt the motor mounts are great.

But I am currently running the short Hinson mounts with their heat shields and they are excellent. Least amount of NVH of any motor mount I have tried and pretty much no movement of the engine.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! With any luck Amazon will deliver a set to me today. Will try to remember to report back with my thoughts on them.

EDIT: They arrived as expected, and are already installed. They're SO much smaller than the stock mounts, but their height is nearly identical to new stock mounts (my old stock mounts were ~0.10" compressed). Just need to finish attaching the trans/diff & rear end before I can try out the Whiteline mounts.
