Default Looking to get my first Vette

As the title states I'm currently looking to buy my first one ever (dream come true) and I have my search pretty narrowed down. There's one I like that's a decent distance away and I want to take the drive to check out in person, but I wanted to see if maybe someone on here knew what this was so i could gain a little knowledge. It's a 2010 Grand Sport and the wire in the attached picture is dangling from the driver's side where the carpet meets the center console. Ideas on what this is? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks everyone,
Chris

Looks like a female USB port from an aftermarket stereo. Looks like one from a Kenwood unit. If the car has the stock radio (look at other photos) then I would guess someone pulled out the after-market stereo to install the factory radio and didn't bother to remove the USB extension cable.

That is were you would plug in your USB cable for Apple Carplay/Android Auto. I would recommend purchasing a cigarette lighter adapter and installing it under the armrest. Simply plug it into that port and tuck it under the center console and cleans up the install nicely. Here is one from Amazon:

It does have a Kenwood aftermarket radio, so I'd say that seems pretty spot on. Thank you for responding and sending the link, I'll definitely want to clean it up a bit so it's much appreciated.

If all goes to plan, I should be behind the wheel of my first Vette this Saturday...talk about the longest week ever of my life. Used to drive a built up 95 Trans Am that I got rid of a little while back and I can't wait to get back into it.

Thanks again for your help.

Got mine two years ago. It snowed every day for a week so dealer kept it in their inside warehouse for me. So I had to wait a week after mine was bought and paid for. You’re in for a real treat. I came from a 99 Z28 convertible.
