Yep, I'm getting the service active handling warning at random times. I understand the usual causes are the steering wheel position and wheel speed sensors but I'm not getting any codes, so have no idea which part to replace. Hoping someone might know that no code could be a clue to the cause, or maybe my cheap amazon scanners just suck?

Cheap scanners can't see the EBCM (ABS computer), which is where your code is stored. You need to use a Tech 2, or a higher-end scan tool that has support for GM-specific modules.
Yep, need GM Tech II level scanner to pull up the history codes that are are the body level of the car in the BCM.
If getting history DTC's that are pointing back to rear wheel hub sensors as the problem, and the connectors on these are fine/ been cleaned, then would suspect the C186 connector between the side of the battery and passenger fender wall needs to be cleaned since the rear sensor wires run through it.
